Analysis

The Luxembourg Workplace Mobbing Scale is designed to measure the frequency and intensity of workplace harassment incidents experienced by employees. The scale includes questions referring to specific situations or behaviors, such as hostile behavior from colleagues or supervisors, psychological attacks, and lack of support from the team.

Objective

The primary objective of the LWMS is to identify and document the frequency and intensity of workplace harassment incidents.

Calibration

The scale assesses various forms of harassment, such as verbal and emotional abuse and exclusion. Calibration involves evaluating responses based on a Likert scale, which may range from 1 to 5 or 1 to 7, where participants rate the intensity or frequency of harassment incidents they
have experienced.
