Analysis

The German Leader-Member Exchange Scale (GLMES) is a psychometric tool designed to assess the quality of the relationship between a leader (or supervisor) and their team members. The Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) theory suggests that the quality of this relationship significantly impacts employee performance, job satisfaction, and workplace engagement.

Objective

Calibration

The scale evaluates key dimensions of leader-member exchange, including: Quality of the leader-member relationship, Perceived support and trust, Commitment and communication. Responses are collected using a 5-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree, 5 = Strongly Agree).
