Analysis
The Elementary School Success Profile (ESSP) is a psychometric tool designed to evaluate multiple dimensions of elementary school student success. This tool has versions for students, parents, and teachers. The ESSP-Parent version gathers parents’ perspectives on the factors influencing their child’s success in school.
Objective
The primary goal of the ESSP-Parent is to collect parental insights on the key contributors to their child’s academic and social success. Educators and health professionals can use this information to better understand students’ needs and challenges.
Calibration
The scale assesses various dimensions, including: Academic performance, Behavior, Socialization, Well-being, Home support. Responses are typically measured using a 5-point Likert scale, ranging from “Strongly Disagree” to “Strongly Agree.”
