The Feedback Instrument for Rescue Force Development – Trainer (FIRE-DO) is a psychometric tool designed to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs for rescue forces from the trainers’ perspective. It collects data on various aspects of training, including: Teaching effectiveness, Adequacy of resources, Trainee engagement and response, Overall trainer satisfaction with the program.

Objective

The primary goal of FIRE-DO is to gather feedback from trainers regarding the quality and impact of rescue force training programs. This information can be used to: Improve training methodologies, Enhance resource allocation, Optimize trainer and trainee experiences.

Calibration

The scale uses a 5-point Likert rating system (1 = Strongly Disagree, 5 = Strongly Agree). Higher scores indicate greater effectiveness and trainer satisfaction with the program.
