The Feedback Tool for Rescue Force Development – Basic Training (FIRE-B) is a psychometric assessment tool designed to evaluate the effectiveness of basic training programs for rescue forces. This tool gathers feedback from both trainees and instructors on various aspects of the training, including: Skill acquisition, Knowledge development, Safety measures, Support during training, Overall satisfaction with the program.
Objective
The primary goal of FIRE-B is to collect feedback from participants in rescue force basic training programs. The insights obtained can be used to: Improve training quality, Enhance program effectiveness, Increase trainee satisfaction.
Calibration
The scale uses a 5-point Likert rating system (1 = Strongly Disagree, 5 = Strongly Agree). The total score is derived from the sum of individual dimension scores. Higher scores indicate greater effectiveness and satisfaction with the training.
