Purpose

The purpose of Values Clarification is to strengthen the understanding of personal values and to improve an individual’s ability to live and work in accordance with them. This process aims to enhance personal satisfaction and well-being, improve quality of life, and support conscious and strategic decision-making.

Methods and Tools

Values Clarification often involves questionnaires and self-assessment questions, group or individual sessions with a counselor or specialist, activities and exercises that require individuals to examine various scenarios and choose actions or decisions that reflect their values, as well as the recording of goals and strategies.
