Analysis

The Role Innovation Scale was designed to assess employees’ ability and tendency to introduce new ideas, processes, or improvements into their roles within the organization. Role innovation refers to individuals’ willingness and ability to experiment with new approaches and to incorporate changes that can enhance performance and effectiveness.

Purpose

The purpose of the scale is to measure the level of innovation that employees demonstrate in their roles, providing valuable insights for the development of strategies that can foster innovation and creativity in the workplace.

Scoring

The scale includes a series of statements to which employees are asked to respond using a Likert scale, ranging from “1 = Strongly disagree” to “5 = Strongly agree.”
