Analysis
The Feedback Instrument for Rescue Force Development – Tabletop Exercises (FIRE-PL) is a psychometric tool designed to evaluate the effectiveness of tabletop simulation exercises in rescue force training and development programs. It gathers feedback on key aspects of scenario-based learning, including: Clarity and realism of scenarios, Collaboration among participants, Application of skills and decision-making, Overall satisfaction with the training experience.
Objective
The primary goal of FIRE-PL is to collect participant feedback on the effectiveness of tabletop simulation exercises. The data can be used to: Improve scenario design and realism, Enhance team collaboration and decision-making, Optimize training methods to increase engagement and effectiveness.
Calibration
The scale uses a 5-point Likert rating system (1 = Strongly Disagree, 5 = Strongly Agree). Higher scores indicate greater effectiveness, engagement, and satisfaction with the simulation-based training.
