The Feedback Tool for Rescue Force Development Examinations (FIRE-P) is a psychometric instrument designed to evaluate the effectiveness of assessments and examinations used in rescue force training and development programs. It collects feedback on key aspects of evaluation, including: Clarity of exam questions, Fairness of assessment methods, Quality of feedback provided, Overall participant satisfaction with the examination process.
Objective
The primary goal of FIRE-P is to assess participants’ perceptions of the effectiveness and fairness of exams in rescue force training programs. The feedback gathered can help: Improve assessment design and question clarity, Enhance fairness and transparency in grading, Ensure exams accurately reflect the required skills and knowledge, Increase participant confidence and satisfaction with the evaluation process.
Calibration
The scale uses a 5-point Likert rating system (1 = Strongly Disagree, 5 = Strongly Agree).Higher scores indicate greater effectiveness, fairness, and participant satisfaction with the examination process.
