Analysis

The Synergistic Supervision Scale evaluates the quality and effectiveness of supervision provided in a professional environment, focusing on how supervisory practices enhance collaboration, support, and employee development. The term “synergistic” refers to the concept of cooperation and the creation of added value through combined effort. The scale typically includes aspects such as active support, communication, encouragement of collaboration, recognition and reward, and the creation of an empowering environment.

Purpose

The purpose of the scale is to measure the effectiveness of supervision based on the above aspects, in order to identify areas where supervisory practice can be improved. Understanding synergistic supervision can help strengthen supervisor–employee relationships, enhance productivity and job satisfaction, and promote a positive workplace culture.

Calibration

Participants are asked to respond to questions on a Likert scale (e.g., from “1 = Strongly Disagree” to “5 = Strongly Agree”).
