Analysis

The Chinese Values Survey provides a culturally adapted approach to understanding the core values that guide individuals’ behavior and decision-making in Chinese and other Asian populations.

Objective

The primary objective of the survey is to assess the fundamental values of Chinese society and other Asian cultures and examine their influence on interpersonal relationships and professional behaviors.

Calibration

The survey consists of a series of statements to which participants respond using a Likert scale, typically ranging from 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree). The statements cover various aspects of cultural values, such as respect for hierarchy, family values, collectivism, and self-discipline.
