Brief Description
The Safe Dates questionnaire on physical violence victimization is designed to assess the frequency and severity of physical abuse experienced by adolescents and young adults in their romantic relationships. It includes questions about incidents of physical violence such as hitting, kicking, and other forms of physical aggression.
Objective
The objective of the questionnaire is to measure and understand the extent of physical violence experienced by adolescents in their relationships.
Scoring
Responses are rated on a frequency scale, ranging from “never” to “very often.” The total score can indicate the degree of victimization from physical violence.
