Analysis
The University Adaptation Questionnaire was designed to assess students’ adjustment to the university environment.
Purpose
The purpose of the questionnaire is to understand how students adapt to the new demands and challenges of university life.
Scoring
The questionnaire includes 18 questions, 8 of which represent good adaptation to university life, while the remaining 10 reflect a lack of adaptation. Scoring is done on a 7-point scale (1 = “not at all true,” 7 = “always true”). Higher scores indicate greater adaptability to student life.
Statistical Analysis
The total score ranges from 1 to 136.
Reliability
Internal consistency is satisfactory (Cronbach’s α = 0.83). The corrected item-total correlations are also high, further confirming the reliability of the questionnaire.
