Analysis
The ACOS questionnaire analyzes students’ ability to control and manage their actions in order to achieve their educational goals. A central point of analysis is the students’ ability to set clear objectives and carry out the necessary actions to accomplish them.
Objective
The objective of the Action Control Scale is to provide educators and researchers with a tool for understanding and measuring students’ ability to regulate their actions. This is particularly important for developing strategies that enhance self-regulation and overall student performance in school.
Calibration
The calibration of the ACOS questionnaire is typically carried out using rating scales that include statements or categories for students to evaluate. For example, it may include the following categories:
Goal Setting: The ability to set clear and achievable goals.
Action Planning: The ability to plan the actions required to achieve those goals.
Action Execution: The ability to implement the plans and actions they have developed.
Progress Evaluation: The ability to assess the progress they have made and adjust their actions accordingly.
