Analysis and Purpose of the Questionnaire

The Conflict Management Questionnaire (CMQ-30) was designed by Tenglimoglu and Kisa in 1999 to investigate the main causes of conflicts and their characteristics, while also providing proposals for their resolution. Furthermore, the identification and recording of this important information may contribute to the successful management of conflicts at the administrative level.

Calibration and Statistical Analysis

The CMQ questionnaire consists of a total of 30 items rated on a 5-point Likert scale ranging from 1 (not at all) to 5 (very much). The scoring was derived by summing the scores of each question, so that 150 represents the maximum value (an extremely favorable work environment) and 30 the lowest possible (an extremely unfavorable work environment in terms of conflict factors).
Both descriptive and inferential statistical analysis were performed, and frequency tables were created for the variables under study.

Validity and Reliability

The CMQ questionnaire is part of the questionnaire used in the study by Tenglimoglu and Kisa, which has been translated into Greek and standardized by Kaitelidou et al., who also granted permission for its use.
For the reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was calculated, α = 0.75.
