Analysis
The Perceived Organizational Innovativeness Scale (POIS) is designed to measure the extent to which employees perceive their organization as innovative. Innovation refers to an organization’s ability to introduce new ideas, products, or processes and successfully implement them.
This scale assesses various dimensions of innovativeness, such as commitment, resources, environment, and leadership.
Purpose
The purpose of the scale is to provide a reliable and valid measurement of an organization’s perceived innovativeness.
Scoring
The scale typically consists of a series of statements to which participants respond using a Likert scale ranging from “1 = Strongly disagree” to “5 = Strongly agree.” Responses are scored, and the overall score is calculated as the mean of the ratings across each dimension of innovativeness.
