Analysis
The analysis of the Prosocial Behavior Evaluation Tool (ΕΠΒΠ) involves evaluating the responses provided in order to understand children’s behavioral patterns in relation to their predisposition toward prosocial activities. Typically, responses are scored and analyzed quantitatively, and the results are compared with established norms or findings from other studies to assess the frequency and quality of prosocial behaviors. Statistical methods may also be used to analyze correlations between different variables such as age, gender, and socioeconomic background.
Purpose
The main goal of the ΕΠΒΠ is to record and assess children’s prosocial behaviors in order to better understand the factors that influence the development of such behaviors. This tool can be used for research purposes, for developing interventions that promote prosocial behaviors, and for monitoring children’s progress in programs aimed at improving their social behavior.
Calibration
Calibration of the ΕΠΒΠ is based on the participants’ responses. Typically, each question is scored on a scale (e.g., from 1 to 5) indicating the frequency or intensity of the behavior. These scores are then combined to generate overall indices of prosocial behavior. The reliability and validity of the tool are ensured through the application of statistical techniques and comparison with other validated measures of prosocial behavior.
