Objective

The primary objective of the Religiosity Questionnaire is to provide a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s religious life. Specifically, the questionnaire aims to measure:
Personal Belief: Core religious beliefs and their importance in the individual’s life.
Religious Practice: The frequency and nature of participation in religious activities, such as prayer, rituals, and religious celebrations.
Religious Experiences: Subjective experiences related to the divine or supernatural.
Social Dimension of Religion: Participation and involvement in religious communities and groups.

Analysis

Analysis of data from the Religiosity Questionnaire involves evaluating responses to a series of statements that cover the aforementioned aspects of religiosity. Participants respond to questions that ask them to express the degree of their agreement or disagreement with specific statements, as well as the frequency of their participation in religious practices. The analysis can reveal patterns of religious behavior and attitudes, allowing for comparisons between different individuals or groups and a better understanding of the factors that influence religiosity.

Scoring

Scoring is conducted using a Likert scale, where participants rate the intensity or frequency of their religious beliefs and practices. The data are converted into numerical values used to calculate overall religiosity indices. Scoring helps create religiosity profiles that can be compared across different populations and analyzed in relation to other psychological or social variables.
