Analysis

The Coping with Cyberbullying Questionnaire (CWCBQ) was developed to capture the strategies that individuals, especially adolescents and young people, use to cope with cyberbullying they experience online.

Objective

The main objective of this questionnaire is to provide a valid and reliable measurement of the coping strategies employed in response to cyberbullying.

Scoring

The questionnaire includes statements that cover various coping strategies such as Seeking Social Support, Using Technical Means, Avoidance, and Adaptive Coping. These statements are rated on a Likert scale (e.g., 1 = Never, 2 = Rarely, 3 = Sometimes, 4 = Often, 5 = Always). The scores are combined to create overall scores for each coping strategy, which helps in analyzing the most common and effective strategies used by individuals.
