Ερωτηματολόγιο «Διαστάσεις Προσωπικότητας Παιδιών και Εφήβων» για παιδιά 8–10 ετών [CAPDQ9-121]

Brief Description

This is a parent-report questionnaire that evaluates parents’ perceptions of their child’s personality between the ages of 8 and 10. The final version consists of 106 statements, for which parents are asked to indicate how well each statement fits their child’s behavior. Responses are given on a five-point Likert scale. The tool assesses 5 broad personality factors and 15 specific sub-dimensions.

Purpose

The questionnaire is used by parents to assess their child’s personality in the context of research studies or psychometric evaluations for children aged 8–10 years.

Scoring Method

Scoring is based on calculating the mean score of responses for each broad factor and sub-dimension. Higher values indicate a greater presence of the corresponding personality trait in the child.

Validity

The questionnaire was developed based on open-ended descriptions provided by parents, ensuring strong ecological validity. Its validity is further supported by conceptual coherence and high correlations between the sub-dimensions and their corresponding broad personality factors.

Reliability

Internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha) is high, with values ranging from 0.88 to 0.95 for the broad factors and 0.74 to 0.91 for the sub-dimensions, indicating strong reliability.

Data Analysis and Use

The data can be used to map a child’s personality profile and for research purposes. The tool allows for analysis both at the level of broad personality factors and in more detailed sub-dimensions.
