Analysis

The Work Values Inventory (WVI-3) is a more recent and concise version of the tool designed to assess the core values of employees that influence their work behavior and job satisfaction. The WVI-3 scale focuses on three main dimensions of work values: Autonomy and Freedom, Professional Development, and Recognition and Compensation. This tool was developed to be more practical and user-friendly, reducing the number of questions while concentrating on the most critical aspects of work values.

Purpose

The purpose of the WVI-3 is to provide a focused yet insightful assessment of the main values that affect employees’ professional behavior and satisfaction. It helps organizations understand the key motivations of their employees and adapt their strategies to enhance workplace well-being and performance.

Scoring

Participants rate the importance of each value from 1 (Not Important at All) to 5 (Very Important). Higher scores indicate greater importance of the corresponding value for the participant.
