Overview

The Work Values Inventory (WVI) is a psychometric tool designed to evaluate individuals’ preferences and priorities regarding their work environment. It helps assess the core values that influence job satisfaction, career choices, and organizational fit.

Purpose

The primary objective of the WVI is to: Help individuals understand their key work values to achieve greater job satisfaction and career success. Support organizations in identifying values that contribute to employee engagement and retention. Facilitate career counseling and human resource development by aligning job roles with personal values.

Scoring & Calibration

The WVI measures various work-related values, such as: Job Security, Autonomy, Recognition & Achievement, Collaboration & Teamwork.Participants rate statements on a Likert scale: 1 = Not Important at All to 5 = Extremely Important (for evaluating work values). 1 = Strongly Disagree to 5 = Strongly Agree (for measuring agreement with specific work-related statements).
