Analysis
The Work-Related Expectancies Scale focuses on assessing the extent to which employees anticipate positive or negative developments in their work, including rewards, recognition, support, and approval.
Purpose
The aim of the scale is to evaluate how well employees predict and hope that their needs and desires will be met in their work environment. Understanding these expectations can help organizations adjust their policies, improve satisfaction, and reduce frustration and inefficiency.
Scoring
The scale usually employs questionnaires with Likert-type scales to capture participants’ expectations. The items are rated from 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree), with higher scores indicating higher expectations.
