Analysis
The Work as a Means of Securing Livelihood Scale examines the extent to which employees consider their work as a primary means for their financial security and survival. The scale mainly evaluates economic dependence, work prioritization, lack of opportunities, and anxiety.
Objective
The objective of the scale is to record individuals’ attitudes toward their work as a means of financial security. By understanding how important work is for people’s livelihood security, strategies can be developed to help reduce the pressure and stress associated with economic dependence on work.
Calibration
The scale uses questionnaires with Likert-type scales to assess participants’ views regarding the significance of their work for their financial security.
