Analysis

The Institutional Renewal Scale (IRS) assesses an organization’s ability and effectiveness in renewing itself and adapting to new challenges and changes in its environment. This scale is essential for understanding how organizations develop and implement renewal and improvement strategies, maintaining their competitiveness and effectiveness in the long run.

Objective

The purpose of the scale is to measure employees’ perceptions and experiences regarding their organization’s capacity for renewal and adaptation. This includes evaluating renewal strategies, leadership, innovation, and commitment to change.

Calibration

The scale consists of statements or questions to which participants typically respond using a 5-point Likert scale. Scores are calculated by summing responses to derive an overall score that represents the level of institutional renewal within the organization.
