Analysis

The Valued Living Questionnaire (VLQ) was designed to assess the degree to which individuals live in accordance with their personal values across various life domains. The VLQ examines how personal values influence well-being and quality of life.

Objective

The main objective of the VLQ is to evaluate personal values in different areas of an individual’s life and to measure the extent to which the person lives in accordance with these values.

Scoring

The VLQ consists of two parts: the Importance of Values and Living According to Values. Participants are asked to rate the statements in each part on a scale from 1 (Not at all important or Not at all consistent) to 10 (Extremely important or Completely consistent). The life domains covered include family, interpersonal relationships, work, health, etc.
