Analysis

The Emotion Regulation Skills Questionnaire (ERSQ) is designed to assess the skills individuals use to regulate their emotions. The ERSQ evaluates a variety of abilities related to recognizing, understanding, and managing emotions.

Objective

The main objective of the ERSQ is to provide a comprehensive and reliable measurement of emotion regulation skills. This tool is widely used in research and clinical settings to help understand the emotion regulation abilities individuals possess and to support the development of interventions aimed at improving those skills.

Scoring

The ERSQ consists of 27 statements that assess various emotion regulation skills. Participants are asked to indicate the extent to which they agree or disagree with each statement using a 5-point Likert scale ranging from 0 (Never) to 4 (Almost always).
