Analysis

The Eating Disorder Belief Questionnaire (EDBQ-32) is a self-assessment tool used to measure an individual’s beliefs and assumptions related to eating disorders. It is applied in both clinical and research settings to evaluate how these beliefs impact behavior and psychological well-being. The questionnaire includes statements that assess the potential beliefs commonly found in individuals with eating disorders, such as biases about body image, food, and self-worth. Responses to these statements can provide insight into the thoughts and perceptions that may influence an individual’s behavior and the progression of the eating disorder.

Purpose

The purpose of this questionnaire is to assess an individual’s beliefs about eating disorders.

Calibration

The EDBQ-32 consists of 32 items, each of which is scored on a scale from 0 to 100.
