Questionnaire Analysis

The Adult Impulsiveness Scale I7 (AISI-54) is a psychometric tool designed to measure impulsivity levels in adults. It consists of seven items assessing different dimensions of impulsivity, including: Need for immediate gratification, Lack of patience, Tendency for rash decision-making. The questionnaire is widely used in clinical and research settings as a quick and effective method for assessing impulsivity traits.

Objective

The main goal of the AISI-54 is to identify and evaluate an individual’s level of impulsivity. Impulsivity is linked to various psychiatric disorders, such as: ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Impulse control disorders. This tool helps clinicians and researchers understand impulsivity patterns and their relationship with other psychological conditions.

Calibration

The AISI-54 scoring is based on responses to seven statements, rated on a Likert scale. Participants indicate how often or how strongly they agree with each statement. Total scores are calculated to provide a comprehensive impulsivity assessment. Results can be compared to population norms or clinical groups to assess individual differences in impulsivity.
