Analysis

The Perceptions of Organizational Politics Scale examines various factors related to the perception of organizational politics, such as political behavior, competition, conflicts, fairness, and the influence of organizational politics.

Purpose

The purpose of the scale is to evaluate how political employees perceive their organization to be and how this affects their work experience. Understanding these perceptions can help organizations identify problematic areas and develop strategies to improve the climate and culture of organizational politics.

Calibration

Participants evaluate their agreement with various statements related to organizational politics using a Likert scale, which may have 5 or 7 points. The total scores provide indications of the level of perceived politics and the impact of politics on the work environment.
