Analysis

The analysis of the OCI (Organizational Climate Index) is based on evaluating participants’ responses using statistical methods. Responses are typically rated on a Likert scale, and the analysis aims to identify patterns and trends in organizational culture. It may include comparisons between different subgroups within the organization, identification of areas for improvement, and linking results to other organizational performance measures. Statistical techniques used may include factor analysis, ANOVA, and correlations.

Objective

The main objective of the OCI is to provide organizations with a clear understanding of their current climate, to identify strengths and weaknesses, and to support strategic decision-making for improving the organizational climate. Through systematic data collection and analysis, organizations can develop targeted interventions that improve employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall organizational effectiveness.

Calibration

Calibration of the OCI is conducted using predefined scales, typically a Likert scale, where participants are asked to rate their agreement with specific statements related to their work environment. Calibration allows for comparison of results between different organizations or departments within the same organization, and facilitates the analysis of changes in organizational climate over time.
