Analysis
The GSBI is a tool designed to assess various aspects of individuals’ sexual behavior. The questionnaire examines the habits, preferences, and activities related to participants’ sexual lives. The GSBI can cover the spectrum of sexual activity, from the frequency of sexual encounters to the variety of sexual practices and attitudes toward different sexual behaviors.
Purpose
The main goals of the GSBI are to:
Assess sexual behavior: Measure different aspects of sexual behavior, including habits, preferences, and activities.
Examine attitudes and perceptions: Investigate individuals’ attitudes and perceptions regarding sexuality and sexual practices.
Support research and interventions: Provide data that can be used for the development of educational and intervention programs concerning sexual health and well-being.
Scoring
The scoring of the GSBI includes:
Categorization of responses: Participants answer questions related to their sexual behavior using agreement scales or other measurement methods.
Total score: A total score is calculated that reflects various aspects of sexual behavior. This may include the frequency of sexual encounters, the variety of sexual practices, and attitudes toward different behaviors.
Result analysis: The relationship between sexual behavior and other variables—such as mental and physical health, life satisfaction, and social relationships—is examined.
