Analysis
The Female Partner’s Communication During Sexual Activity Scale (FPC-DAS) is a tool designed to assess the manner and quality of a woman’s communication with her sexual partner during sexual activity. The questionnaire includes questions that address the frequency, effectiveness, and forms of communication—such as verbal and nonverbal communication—during sex. In addition, it examines how this communication influences sexual satisfaction and the overall quality of the relationship.
Objective
The objective of the FPC-DAS is to provide information about women’s communication during sex and to highlight its importance for sexual satisfaction and relationship quality. The scale helps to understand the relationship between communication and sexual pleasure, and it can be used to develop interventions that enhance communication and connection between partners.
Calibration
The calibration of the FPC-DAS is usually carried out through a Likert scale, in which participants evaluate various statements regarding communication during sexual activity. The statements may refer to the frequency of communication, immediacy, clarity, and satisfaction with communication. Participants rate the statements from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree).
