Analysis

The Goal Congruence Scale (GCS) is a psychometric tool used to evaluate the alignment between individual goals and the goals of an organization or project. Goal congruence is essential for high performance, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment, as it ensures that employees and teams are working toward common objectives.

Objective

The primary goal of GCS is to assess how well individual goals align with organizational or team objectives. This evaluation helps organizations: Identify discrepancies in goal alignment. Develop strategies to enhance cohesion and direction. Improve motivation and efficiency in the workplace.

Calibration

The scale evaluates key dimensions of goal congruence, including: Alignment of personal and organizational/team goals. Perceived support and guidance in achieving those goals. Responses are measured using a 5-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree, 5 = Strongly Agree).
