Brief Description
The subscale consists of 5 items. Participants are asked to indicate the extent to which each statement describes them, using a five-point Likert-type scale (1 = strongly disagree, 5 = strongly agree). Completion time is approximately 1 minute. The tool is intended for an adult population.
Purpose
The subscale assesses an individual’s level of wisdom, combining environmental awareness and anticipation of consequences.
Scoring Method
Participants rate each statement on a five-point Likert scale, from 1 to 5. The final score is the average of the responses to the 5 items.
Validity
The subscale demonstrates good face validity.
Reliability
The subscale has very good internal consistency, with a reliability index of Cronbach’s alpha = 0.87.
Data Analysis and Use
The tool has been translated into Greek and was used with a sample of 421 individuals from across Greece. It is in the final stage of development. The use of the data may contribute to research studies and the evaluation of leadership traits.
