Analysis
The School Identification Questionnaire is a tool used to examine the extent to which students feel connected to and identify with their school. It typically consists of a series of questions that assess students’ perceptions, emotional responses, and behaviors in relation to the school environment. The results of this questionnaire can provide educators and school counselors with valuable insights into how to improve school climate and students’ overall experience.
Purpose
The purpose of this questionnaire is to offer a means of evaluating the degree of connection and identification students have with their school environment. It provides information on how students feel and think about their school and how these perceptions influence their behavior and academic performance.
Scoring
The ISQ-16 consists of 16 items rated on a scale from 1 to 4, with 1 = Strongly Agree and 4 = Strongly Disagree.
