Analysis

The Psychosocial Ego Strengths Tool is designed to assess an individual’s ego strengths. Ego strengths refer to psychological capacities and traits that enable individuals to effectively cope with challenges and maintain psychological stability and well-being.

Purpose

The purpose of the scale is to measure the psychological strengths and resilience of the individual that contribute to mental well-being, and to evaluate their skills in managing social and emotional challenges.

Scoring

The scale includes a set of items related to self-esteem, social resilience, goal achievement, and inner strength. Responses are given using a 5- or 7-point Likert scale (ranging from “Strongly Disagree” to “Strongly Agree”). The total score is derived from the cumulative evaluation of all item responses.
