Description

The Eysenck Personality Mini Test is a short version of the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) developed by psychologist Hans Eysenck. This mini test was designed to provide a quick and reliable assessment of the main dimensions of personality as described in Eysenck’s model: Extraversion/Introversion, Neuroticism/Emotional Stability, and Psychoticism.

Purpose

The main goal of the Eysenck Personality Mini Test is to provide a rapid estimation of an individual’s core personality traits. This tool is often used in research, clinical assessments, and professional selection processes where a short but reliable measurement of personality is required.

Analysis

The Eysenck Personality Mini Test includes a series of statements that evaluate the three main dimensions of personality:
Extraversion/Introversion:
Assesses an individual’s tendency to be sociable, energetic, and outgoing, or to prefer calmness, introspection, and solitude.
Neuroticism/Emotional Stability:
Assesses an individual’s tendency to experience emotional instability and anxiety, or to be emotionally stable and resilient to stress.
Psychoticism:
Assesses an individual’s tendency to be aggressive, antisocial, and display unconventional or impulsive behaviors.
Participants are asked to respond to each statement using a Likert scale, where responses range from “Strongly Agree” to “Strongly Disagree.”

Scoring

The total score for each dimension is calculated by summing the scores of the corresponding statements. Higher scores indicate a stronger presence of that particular personality trait. These scores can be used to create a personality profile for each individual.
