Description of the Questionnaire

The “Attitude Toward Delinquency” questionnaire is a tool used by researchers to measure and assess the attitudes and opinions of the public toward delinquency and juvenile offenders. It consists of a series of questions asking participants to evaluate their level of acceptance or rejection of various delinquent behaviors.

Aim

The aim of the questionnaire is to explore the attitudes of young people and the general public toward delinquency, in order to identify perceptions and social attitudes related to the acceptance or rejection of delinquent acts.

Scoring

All questions are scored using the following scale and reverse-coded before calculating the total score: Very wrong = 3, A little wrong = 2, Wrong = 1, Not wrong at all = 0. A higher score indicates greater acceptance of delinquency.

Data Analysis and Use

The data obtained from the questionnaire can be used to better understand attitudes and perceptions toward delinquency. The analysis can assist researchers, policy makers, and practitioners in developing prevention and intervention strategies.
