Analysis
The Sociocultural Attitudes Towards Appearance Questionnaire – 4 (SATAQ-4) is based on previous versions of the SATAQ and includes additional dimensions to better capture the role of sociocultural factors in self-perception and body image.
Purpose
The goal of the SATAQ-4 is to provide a more comprehensive and valid method for measuring the social and cultural attitudes that influence appearance.
Scoring
Scoring is conducted using a Likert scale ranging from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree).
