Analysis
The LEIPAD Questionnaire was developed to measure quality of life in older adults. It was created within the framework of the LEIPAD research project (LEIPzig PADua), which focuses on understanding the dimensions of quality of life that affect the elderly.
Purpose
The primary purpose of the questionnaire is to provide a comprehensive evaluation of quality of life in older individuals, taking into account multiple influencing factors. The data collected can be used to inform interventions and policies aimed at improving the quality of life in this age group.
Scoring
The LEIPAD Questionnaire consists of 31 statements distributed across seven main dimensions: Physical Function, Self-Care, Mental Well-Being, Social Function, Emotional Function, Cognitive Function, and Life Satisfaction/Health Awareness. Participants are asked to rate each statement using a 5-point Likert scale, from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). Total scores for each dimension are calculated by summing the individual responses.
