Description of the Questionnaire

The Career Decision-Making Characteristics Questionnaire aims to assess the specific traits an individual exhibits during the process of making decisions related to their career. It consists of thirty-six statements, in which the participant is asked to indicate their level of agreement using a scale from 1 (strongly disagree) to 7 (strongly agree).

Data Analysis and Use

The responses are analyzed quantitatively, aiming to capture the individual’s decision-making profile. The analysis can be conducted by thematic category, such as information analysis, dependence on others, procrastination, belief in external factors, and outcome orientation, or as a whole. The data can be used for research purposes, for career counseling, and for promoting self-awareness and personal development.

Objective

The main objective of the questionnaire is to understand how an individual approaches their career decisions and to identify possible obstacles or patterns that affect the effectiveness of their decision-making process.

Scoring

The response scale is seven-point and includes the following options: 1. Strongly disagree, 2. Disagree to a very small extent, 3. Disagree to a small extent, 4. Neither agree nor disagree, 5. Agree to a moderate extent, 6. Agree to a great extent, 7. Strongly agree.
