Analysis
The Beier-Sternberg Discord Questionnaire (BSDQ) was developed to assess levels of discord and conflict in interpersonal relationships. Discord in relationships can affect both mental and physical well-being, making it important to understand and evaluate the factors that contribute to conflicts.
Purpose
The goal of the BSDQ is to measure the intensity and nature of conflicts within interpersonal relationships.
Scoring
The BSDQ includes a series of statements that assess various aspects of discord in relationships, such as the frequency of conflicts, the intensity of conflicts, the causes of conflicts, and resolution strategies. Scoring is based on a Likert scale from 1 (never) to 5 (always).
