Analysis
The Behavior Regulation Exercise Questionnaire (BREQ-24) is a tool used to measure self-reported behavior related to exercise. Developed by Markland and Ingledew (1997), it assesses various dimensions of exercise behavior, including dependency, autonomy, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and exercise doubt.
Purpose
The purpose of this questionnaire is to measure different aspects of exercise behavior in individuals. Using this tool, researchers and clinicians can evaluate the level of interest, autonomy, extrinsic and intrinsic motivation, and doubt that influence exercise behavior.
Scoring
The BREQ-24 consists of 24 questions that assess the degree to which individuals value, perceive, and engage in exercise activities. These questions are categorized into different subscales that measure various aspects of exercise behavior.
