Youth Quality of Life Instrument – Short Form [YQOL-SF-15]

Description

The Youth Quality of Life Instrument – Short Form (YQOL-SF-15) is a brief version of the YQOL consisting of 15 items. It is designed to assess adolescents’ subjective quality of life, including psychological and physical well-being, social inclusion, and personal relationships.

Purpose

The instrument provides a brief and comprehensive assessment of quality of life, making it particularly useful in large-scale studies and clinical settings where assessment time is limited.

Applications

The YQOL-SF-15 can be used in research studies, clinical settings, healthcare services, educational environments, and community programs. Results may also be examined in relation to other psychosocial variables or used to evaluate the effects of interventions.

Scoring

Responses are provided on a Likert-type scale, with total scores reflecting the adolescent’s perceived quality of life.
