Purpose

The purpose of this scale is to record the frequency of Aggression and Problem Behavior components.

Analysis

These components measure the frequency of physical aggression, non-physical aggression, and relational aggression.
Physical aggression, non-physical aggression

Question Scoring

Scores are assigned as follows for each subscale:
Never = 1
1–2 times = 2
3–5 times = 3
6–9 times = 4
10–19 times = 5
20 or more times = 6

Scores are summed for each subscale. Higher scores indicate higher levels of aggressive behavior.

Scale Reliability

The reliability coefficients of the subscales have generally ranged between 0.70 and 0.87 in studies conducted in the United States (e.g., Miller-Johnson et al., 2004). Similarly, a study from Bulgaria reported reliabilities ranging from 0.83 to 0.87 (Bilić, 2013).
