Analysis
The “Classmate Support Subscale” is a tool used to assess the support a student receives from their classmates. This scale measures perceived help, encouragement, and emotional support provided by peers in various aspects of school life. It includes questions related to assistance with schoolwork, the enhancement of self-confidence, and the sense of belonging within the group. Students’ responses provide an overall picture of social interaction and the sense of community within the classroom, contributing to the understanding of how peer support can influence students’ academic and psychosocial development.
Objective
The objective of this questionnaire is to evaluate the quality and extent of support students receive from their classmates. The scale aims to understand how such support affects academic performance, social development, and emotional well-being. By recording students’ experiences, the scale provides valuable information that can be used to improve the school climate, strengthen collaboration among students, and promote a supportive and encouraging educational community. In this way, it contributes to creating an environment where all students feel accepted and are encouraged to achieve their goals.
