Purpose of the Questionnaire
The purpose of this questionnaire is the systematic recording of the basic characteristics of an individual’s work, with the aim of understanding the conditions, organization, motivations, and professional parameters related to daily occupational experience. This tool is addressed to employees across all professional fields and levels, regardless of gender or age. It is used in research focusing on job satisfaction, occupational stress, organizational behavior, human resource management, and career counseling.
Questionnaire Analysis
The questionnaire was developed in 2021 by a team of experts in occupational psychology and sociology. It includes twelve closed-ended questions with the option for brief comments where deemed appropriate. Its themes include job content, working hours, type of employment, degree of autonomy, job demands, sense of job security, opportunities for career development, level of remuneration, collegial relationships, managerial support, and general working conditions.
Scoring of Questions
Responses to the questions are given on a five-point Likert scale, where 1 corresponds to “Not at all Satisfied” and 5 to “Fully Satisfied.” At the same time, basic demographic data such as age, gender, professional sector, and years of experience are collected. Total and subscale scores can be calculated either as averages or as sums, depending on the purpose of the research or evaluation.
Statistical Analysis
The total score ranges from 12 to 60 points. Higher values indicate increased levels of job satisfaction and a positive perceived work experience. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analyses, factor analyses, or group comparisons based on demographic or occupational characteristics can be applied.
Validity of the Questionnaire
Content validity of the tool has been ensured through evaluation by experts in occupational psychology. Preliminary studies have demonstrated satisfactory correlations of the questionnaire with indicators of job satisfaction, occupational burnout, and organizational commitment.
Reliability of the Questionnaire
The reliability of the scale has been tested with a Cronbach’s alpha internal consistency coefficient of 0.84. Test–retest reliability over a four-week interval showed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.76, indicating satisfactory stability of the measurements.
