Analysis

The IDSGDA is a tool designed to assess the existence and extent of double standards in sexual attitudes and generational differences in these attitudes. Double standards refer to differing expectations or evaluations of sexual behaviors depending on gender, while generational differences refer to changes or variations in attitudes observed across different generations.

Purpose

The main objectives of the IDSGDA are to:
Assess the existence of double standards: Identify and measure differences in attitudes related to sexual behaviors based on gender or other social groups.
Examine generational differences in sexual attitudes: Analyze how attitudes toward sexuality have shifted or differentiated across different generations.
Investigate the link between double standards and generational differences: Explore how double standards and generational differences interact and influence understanding and attitudes regarding sexuality.
Support the development of intervention strategies: Provide data for the development of educational programs and intervention strategies that promote equality and understanding in matters of sexuality.

Calibration

The calibration of the IDSGDA includes:
Categorization of Responses: Participants respond to questions examining their attitudes toward sexuality using agreement scales, disagreement scales, or other measurement methods.
Total Score: A total score is calculated that reflects the degree of double standards and generational differences. Higher scores may indicate stronger or more distinct double standards or generational differences.
Result Analysis: The relationship is examined between double standards, generational differences, and other parameters such as personal attitude, social influences, and cultural conditions.
