Analysis

The program includes four areas of exercises: psychomotor, psycho-lateral, phonological awareness, and pre-writing. Each area consists of 20 exercises, graded with increasing levels of difficulty.

Objective

The aim of the intervention program is the early re-education of preschool children who show signs of dyslexic behavior.

Scoring

The research was conducted in two phases. The first phase involved selecting a sample of 785 children and administering the Early Dyslexia Detection Test. In the second phase, 46 preschoolers were selected and retained for the intervention program. The results of the follow-up indicated that the children in the experimental group showed improvement in the four intervention areas compared to the control group.

Sample

The intervention program was standardized on a sample of 23 preschoolers from schools in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas of the Ioannina prefecture.
